Dhiren Raichura is not only a Guitarist, but a multi-instrumentalist, Record Producer, Engineer, Arranger and Studio Owner. Dhiren has played with great names in the Indian and Pakistani music Industry, including the world renowned Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. He is adept at both North and South Indian music and many western forms, such as jazz and funk.

Having over 25 years of experience in Composing and Producing Jingles in London, Dhiren, a versatile musician playing all instruments from keyboards to saxophone, is now taking a breather in Mumbai. Dhiren has been awarded a Merit in Diploma studying Orchestration and Harmony & Counterpoint in western classical music. Dhiren performs musically with a light and graceful touch, able to play North Indian (light classical), South Indian (light Karnatic) and western pop to jazz funk music.

Due to his versatility Dhiren has been fortunate to accompany some of India and Pakistan's great artists, including Lata Mangeshkar, Manna Dey, Ustad Raiz Khan, Hariharan, Gulam Ali, Pankaj Udhas, Noor Jahan, Abida Parveen, Talat Aziz, Parvez Mehdi and many more. Dhiren worked as a session musician for the BBC in the pioneering Indian cultural program "Nayi Zindagi Naya Jeevan" (New Way...New Life) in the early 1980's and has composed music for numerous television productions.

Dhiren also recorded the legendary classical vocalist Kishori Amonkar at Studio Beats. Enjoying the busy life of the "Live" musician, Dhiren also has produced two solo albums of devotional songs entiled "Shukriyada" and "Tera Naam Ek Sahaara" in which he provides vocals. Dhiren has composed and performed for Geri Halewell in the album"Schizophonic" and the Mercury Award winning Talvin Singh's "OK".

Amongst TV programmes a few stand out: "Into Music" for BBC 2, "Chalte Chalte" for Granada Television, "Panchayat" for Zee TV, and scoring the documentary film "Badalte Rishte" for Healthwise Productions which went on to receive an award. Dhiren has also been commissioned to engineer and record live, a great concert held at the Royal Festival Hall with performances by the legendary Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia and ensemble, Luise Banks, Karl Peters, Bala and Larry.
